Meal Program

School Year Food Program

The SYNC 21st Century Community Learning Center announces the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture funded Child and Adult Care Food Program.  Meals will be available at no separate charge to enrolled participants at 4000 Covington Hwy, Decatur, GA 30032. The Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Services, Child Nutrition Programs – Income Eligibility Guidelines for Free and Reduced-Price Meals are used to determine the rate that the center will be reimbursed for meals served in this program.  Supper is served from 2:30 - 4:30 pm and snack from 5:30 - 7:00 pm (Monday-Friday).

Summer Food Program

The SYNC 21st Century Community Learning Center is participating in Happy Helpings, Georgia’s Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge.  Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.  Meals will be provided from 7:30 - 8:30 am for breakfast and from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm to students enrolled in the program beginning June 3 - July 26, 2024 (Monday - Friday).

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
